We're that crazy kind of family you read about

Last year we started a tradition, NYO-sgiving. Granted there was some drama that weekend, but we were able to get through it and in the end have a good time. This idea was started by selfdeception. The idea behind this was for all of us to get together like a family to just get away from the stress and bs of our own families. The planning this year started in October, via a few phone calls and then went to paper. So far, only one person RSVPd and then said that they couldn't make it. What really bothers me is that no one else even bothered to even RSVP if they wanted to come or not. I open my house to you all for something fun and magical and this is the response I get, nothing? I know that this year the NYO Family had issues, but we were able to deal with them.
So, there's no NYO-lidays this year. I went out and bought a plastic tree for us to decorate and have fun, but I suppose that will be for another time. So I'm gonna go hang out with friends this weekend and then have my traditional weekend xmas hangout and my New Year's Eve party.
I'll see you all on the flipside.
